Wedding Card

One of our crafting friends is getting married next week.

Here is the card I made, it's 2 6 x 6 cards stuck together,
cleverly covered over with patterned paper, so you can't see the join :))

Hope they like it.

A must mention, Jack won the fishing comp last Friday, with a
whopper, 6lb 12oz fish.He got a trophy, on loan for a year, a medal for
him to keep some dollars and bag of sweeties :) Not bad for 2hrs fishing.
Well done Jack, you did your Dad proud xx  & a big kissy from Mum :)

Christmas card challenge

Just posting my four cards for this month :)
The light isn't very good here today, rain clouds everywhere
and making it feel like winter rather than summer :(

I have a lot of Anna Griffin bits left over from last year,
so I'm trying to use them up.

This is what we've been up to ....

I have finally started my christmas cards ......... sssshhh!
I know it's still June, but come the school holidays I won't have time
so I'm making a start now.Hopefully some of the girls on the BG forum
will take up the challenge I'm setting, and get started on theirs too.
Heres a few I whipped up yesterday.(at the top)


We had some fun in the park at the weekend. 
Jake with the ducks, he thought it was great fun,
the ducks came running up to him, thinking he had food :)
The squirrell thought the same, very tame it was too.
Jake loves the swings, grandads arm was achey.
Our beautiful park is under construction at the moment
(why I don't know, there was nothing wrong with it), the
council are renovating at lot of the areas, so we couldn't
explore as much as we wanted too.

Time to post

again.Why is it when we have so many things going on in our lives,
we always forget the little things.Like picking the phone up to ring
your friend just to say 'hello', give someone a hug and smiling.
It means a lot more than words doesn't it.
Oooer thats a bit deep for me.But there are so many of us
who just need a 'hello', 'hug' or 'smile', small gifts from the heart mean more
than empty gifts from the wallet.
Anyway .............. back to crafting.I am in the middle of making a batch of cards
and will upload when they are finished.

Oh oh I forgot, little Charlie was born 4th June at 4.55am, weighing a whopping
8lb 15oz  (omg, poor mummy) Daddy and big bruv are doing just fine :) Pics to follow xx

Sunny Monday

Well the weather seems to be holding up for a while.
Hope it stays like this for a while.

Another baby card, the last one was meant for our new nephew,
who is due anytime now, but hubbys friends, little one decided to
arrive so that card was sent to them.
Anyhow, hopefully no more babies until little 'Charlie' is born :)
